A trusted name in postsecondary education Since 1988, Mark Henderson, BA, MA, has been helping university students improve their academic performance.
Mark has logged over 5000 hours in
individual interviews with students from across arts, business, science and applied science, exploring their abilities and
interests and assisting them to express their thoughts effectively; received a letter of commendation from the UNB President for his work in student development; been voted honorary class graduate by a Saint
John Campus graduating class; taught credit courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in two faculties; played a vital role in
Student Services to attract up to 20% of the student body to voluntarily seek assistance with academic performance; assisted students individually
and through seminars with writing documents and preparing presentations for school and business; often served as mentor; assisted faculty and staff
individually and through seminars in writing grant proposals, textbooks and other documents; designing assignments and syllabi;
developing assessment and feedback strategies; been Acting Senate Secretary of UNB's Saint John Campus.
Mark is a past instructor
at the New Brunswick Community College - Saint John and the Saint John Learning Exchange. He currently serves as Vice
Chair of the School District 6 Education Council and teaches in Arts and Business at the undergraduate and graduate levels,
UNB Saint John.
