A trusted name in postsecondary education 

Since 1988, Mark Henderson, BA, MA, has been helping university students improve their academic performance. Mark has

  • logged over 5000 hours in individual interviews with students from across arts, business, science and applied science, exploring their abilities and interests and assisting them to express their thoughts effectively;
  • received a letter of commendation from the UNB President for his work in student development;
  • been voted honorary class graduate by a Saint John Campus graduating class; 
  • taught credit courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in two faculties;
  • played a vital role in Student Services to attract up to 20% of the student body to voluntarily seek assistance with academic performance;
  • assisted students individually and through seminars with writing documents and preparing presentations for school and business; often served as mentor;
  • assisted faculty and staff individually and through seminars in writing grant proposals, textbooks and other documents; designing assignments and syllabi; developing assessment and feedback strategies;
  • been Acting Senate Secretary of UNB's Saint John Campus.

Mark is a past instructor at the New Brunswick Community College - Saint John and the Saint John Learning Exchange. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the School District 6 Education Council and teaches in Arts and Business at the undergraduate and graduate levels, UNB Saint John.
